About the founder (me)
From a talkative person, I lost my voice when I was repeatedly sexually assaulted by my teacher throughout high school. As it was slowly forced upon me, his actions made me feel as if it was normal. Eventually, at 15, I realized that this was a case of sexual assault by listening to how my body felt with him around. Through many albums of collected shirtless pictures of me and hours of his hands sinking deep into my skin, I needed someone to talk to. I feared judgement and victim-blaming from my communities, and more importantly I feared what I would lose if I did speak up. Here, I searched for helplines for boys in Thailand and non could be found. I decided it would be better off just living with it and staying in silence.

Overtime I found strength in myself to speak up in my communities, but I hoped there was a helpline that could make it easier and more comfortable for male victims of sexual assault to speak up so that it wasn't easier to just keep quiet. A helpline that could discuss how to speak up in a way where you lose the least resources from that person. At least 1 in 6 men (per 1in6.org) have experienced sexual abuse or assault throughout their lifetime, but they are silenced because of society's expectation of masculinity and perseverance through adversity often leading to a lifetime of trauma. I want to help the world heal through anonymous conversations and support. You are not alone!
The
Team
Who are we?
We are a group of students (8) based in Thailand that came together to create an accessible and anonymous helpline for men and boys all around Thailand to be able to find help. We believe that the issue of sexual harassment of males in Thailand is an issue that requires far more attention, and together, we aim to reshape the stigma of looking for help in Thailand.
